What better place to test our new Island Edition of the Getting Lost Game than my very first trip to Fiji. Arriving via a cruise we found ourselves on the tiny (just 2 miles long) Dravuni Island. Home to a population of under 150 people there are no resorts, hotels, restaurants or pools to be found! It was absolutely the perfect island to get lost on!

The teenagers were content to shop the makeshift market (ticking off our first card to support the smallest business you can find) and swim at the beach so James and I set off to get lost.
Our first card was to spin a jandal or sandal (we decided a Croc was close enough!) and head in the direction it pointed so we used that at the first fork we came to, and then turned left at a palm tree.
This saw us heading up quite a few stairs to a pretty incredible lookout (which of course we had a stop for a picture card for).
Back down from our hike up the hill and back down to the beach. Once there we drew the card to try some food or drink we’d never had which for me was green coconut (the ones at home were quite different!). The kids tried sugar cane too.
James tried sitting under a tree and naming 3 things he could hear and see but it’s really not his jam so I did this one and he went off to find out something without going online (particularly easy as there was no internet and James loves a good chat so was finding out all about kava in no time!)
Our final card - go for a swim! Definitely not hard after hiking up a mountain.
The Getting Lost Island Edition was a great way to feel like an adventurer on a tropical island for a few hours.
