This game gets adventurers who love to explore on foot to walk different routes and find new places to explore
Grab your pack and head out on your walk. Your path will be decided by the birds, your shoe size, animals you pass, the weather, what other walkers are holding, letterboxes and street signs you pass and some other crazy directions along the way. The new directions rely on elements that change every time you are walking which means that even if you set out from the same spot on your walk you’ll have a different walk each time.

Our cards measures 91mm x 55mm. They have misdirection cards on one side and NZ and Australian locations (known as our inspiration cards) on the other side. All these locations can be found on our blog so its perfect for a little holiday inspiration and dreaming.

I used these as part of a Secret Santa gift for a work colleague who loves to bushwalk and hike. She was thrilled with them and couldn't wait to put them to use. Getting lost in my home town
On New Years Day, my wife and I armed with our Christmas present of two Getting Lost packs set off to see where one of them would take us. It was easy to start. We left our car beside the Avon River and read card one. This took us past a school library (my wife is a librarian), through a notable green space where Anzac Day commemorations were held post-earthquake, down a street where old homes had gone and now inner-city townhouses abound, into and through Victoria Square. This led us past an old, now gone, watering hole that I and my Dad frequented, then into the city scape following our cards. A trip past another library and through Cathedral Square took us down a street, across the Avon River towards the Botanical Gardens where we were out of cards and now either not lost or now found ! What did this Getting Lost provide ? It was full of memories where I caught the bus as a young boy, thoughts of my Dad, past a shop where my wife bought some nice jewelry, over the Avon river twice, past a home where I had been to a party as a young man and into the Botanical Gardens which I always visit in any city I go to. We'll try it again soon somewhere else in this city and then in Wellington in March. It's a very good present we gave one another. Thanks

Brought it because I thought is was going to be interesting....
I can get lost all by my self, which a lot cheaper and more interesting.

Great fun for all ages
The kids loved being the boss and sending us in any direction to feel "lost". Great flexible directions meant it worked anywhere. Highly recommend.
