This game gets Aussies who are sick of going to the same places to find new places to explore
You can use all our Getting Lost Games in Australia (or anywhere around the world), but we reckoned you may like one that's made especially for Australia.
The Aussie Edition has all our favourite Getting Lost misdirection cards from our Adventurers Edition that you need to get you finding new places in your backyard (things like turn left, follow a blue car, head in the direction the wind is blowing) plus we’ve put in some extra, uniquely Aussie misdirections featuring koalas, billabongs, thongs, skinny lattes and tinnies.

Each kit contains 30 “misdirection cards” which give you random directions to find new places. You'll find the hidden gems that don't always show up in the trip guides and support local businesses on your way. You'll find yourself enjoying the journey as much as the destination and all having a laugh together as you navigate using our generic misdirection cards. Please note, this is a family friendly, largely direction based version and doesn't have the same cards as the Girls Road Trip - if you are looking for an 18+ activity and direction based game to play with the girls choose this one - it too can be used all around the world.

As with all our games we rely on landmarks like roads, signs and shops to guide you. We do not recommend that this game (or any of our games) are played in very remote areas where you are unlike to find these things.
We'd like to thank our epic Getting Lost community (and special thanks to Sarah, Janie, Nesbitt, Shelley, Cheryl, Amy and Alison) to create some uniquely Aussie directions with things like koalas, billabongs, thongs, skinny lattes, tinnies and eucalyptus trees featuring in this special edition.
Our cards measures 91mm x 55mm. They have misdirection cards on one side and NZ and Australian locations (known as our inspiration cards) on the other side. All these locations can be found on our blog so its perfect for a little holiday inspiration and dreaming.
Want to customise your game? You can add one of our suitcases in your favourite colour. Our suitcases fit 45 cards and are great for combining packs and taking them out and about.

Such a great game.. More adventures to follow
We had a great day out using the Getting Lost Cards. There were 5 of us in a group in 2 cars and we travelled roads that had not been either travelled before for some and a long time ago for others. We shuffled the cards to make a starting point and chose a variety of 4 extra cards to play with. It took us 5 hours from start to finish and everyone was very happy with the days outing. We will certainly be doing it again.
This edition is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed using this set and can't wait to take it with us on our next holiday. We live in a (very) small country town in Central West NSW and this was our starting point. It took us 35 minutes before we eventually got out of town, which was hilarious, and also found a spot we didn't know about! We spent about 4 hours on the road, travelled through 5 different towns, and covered 200+ kilometres. We had a great time! We had to adapt a couple of the cards to suit our surroundings, e.g. the "Turn right after the next sign for a koala or kangaroo" came out in probably the only stretch of road where you couldn't find one, so we improvised with the next roadkill we passed (sorry if that upsets anyone). My husband said this was one of the best Christmas presents ever - thanks!
My family and I decided to take out our pack of Getting Lost Aussie Edition, and loved our adventure. We all took turns picking cards. And instead of going for a boring Sunday drive, we had a blast. We spent hours driving and none of my kids were on their phones, they were all engaged in the hunt, checking out the scenery and looking for our next stop/ turning point.
We launched our New Year by Getting Lost. It was perfect. So much giggling and for a whole morning the kids didn’t fight. From finding swings to singing like the Von Traps we had an awesome morning. And ended up in a little town (went in the direction that the wind was blowing to a town that started with the same letter as the youngest player) that we would never have visited otherwise.
