The Dog’s Edition
$NZD14.95 – $NZD16.95
Un-plan your next walk with your pup. Grab this pack, get a lead, follow the directions and change up your dog walk.
The 15 card Dog’s Edition is designed to add a little bit of spontaneous fun to your next walk with your favourite pooch.
Shuffle the cards and let them lead you. There are directions that leave your pup totally in charge – turning left with a wag, right with a woof or deciding the direction by which treat he picks or how he responds when you hold out your hand. We’ve also reimagined some of our favourite directions from the Adventurers Edition – follow a blue car becomes follow a brown dog. Stop for a treat is now stop at the next cafe with a dog bowl outside. And Head for Home (everyone’s least favourite card) is updated to head for home after the next poop!
Designed as a walking game the Dog’s Edition is a stand alone game that you can take out on any dog walk – or match it up with one of our other games for a car adventure too!
Which option do I choose?
Naked – choose this option if you are purchasing a case and are happy for us to send them out with just a rubber band (note each case will fit one additional 10 card booster pack only so with the larger booster packs you’ll need to leave a few cards out if you want them all to fit in the one case). Until September 15 2021 all Naked editions purchased will automatically be sent a digital download so you can enjoy straight away if you are in lockdown.
Boxed – choose this option for gifting, if you are buying multiple packs or if you just want each of your Booster Packs in their own custom designed packs (they look pretty cool!). Until September 15 2021 all Boxed editions purchased will automatically be sent a digital download so you can enjoy straight away if you are in lockdown.
So what is the Getting Lost Game?
Purposefully offline, The Getting Lost Game is designed to inspire adventures and get people out of what they know and explore that untravelled path.
Designed by James and I, the Getting Lost Game gives you random directions to discover new places where ever you are in the country.
There are no rules to the game and the ways you can play it are endless and entirely adaptable to the person playing the game.
We love that this special edition has been a real community effort. We’ve called on help from our Getting Lost community to create these cards and some of these cards have been inspired by them. Particular shout out to Amie, Lisa, Susan, Kate, Nerida and Jesse whose idea’s appear on the cards in this edition but we’d like to thank all of you who sent your ideas. Also featuring on the back of our cards are dogs from our Getting Lost community!
Each card measures 91mm x 55mm and this pack has 15 misdirection cards. On the reverse side are Getting Lost dogs belonging to our Getting Lost community.
Please remember to play the game responsibly and make sure that you stay safe and able to get yourself back home at all times. The compass is a toy designed for playing the game only so please don’t rely on this for directions.
