This game gets adventurers who are sick of going to the same places to find new places to explore
The Adventurers Edition is our original Getting Lost Game and is the perfect starter pack for people wanting to find hidden gems of the beaten track, while exploring their backyard. And yes, you can play it anywhere in the world.
It contains 26 “misdirection cards” which give you random directions (things like turn left, follow a blue car, head in the direction the wind is blowing) to get you being mindfully random in your exploration.

As with all our games we get ideas and feedback from our Getting Lost crew on Facebook, subscribers to our e-mails, purchasers and players of our games.
Our cards measures 91mm x 55mm. They have misdirection cards on one side and NZ and Australian locations (known as our inspiration cards) on the other side. All these locations can be found on our blog so its perfect for a little holiday inspiration and dreaming.

I kept this game as a surprise for the family and was getting a lot of negative feedback from this teens as to what ‘family time’ I was organising. In the end everyone loved it and were all super involved, they only looked at their phone once and that was to check the wind direction. I have raved to numerous friends who all went out to buy a pack themselves. I have just purchased DADS pack for Father’s Day coming up.

So much fun
So I have purchased a few of these but have then purchased even more. My last purchase was 2 x summer editions with 1 x adventurers edition. I went next door and gave them the summer edition and told the boys to pick 6 cards each out of the adventurers edition to throw in to mix it up. They chose their own cards and I think they are a little bit excited (6 & 8 year old). I told them how much fun we had (older people) and even Dad looked interested. Better than any other toy, interaction and doing things as a family. Cant put a price on that.

Exciting
We were in a rut of doing the same old thing all the time. This week we jumped in the car with the cards, we ended up somewhere we know well, but the difference was how we got there! We went on roads we’d not driven before, lovely country side took a couple of diversions to look at something we had spied in the distance. Had a nice cake and cuppa at a lovely cafe ( as per instructions on card). We visited a local attraction in this town as well thst we had on our to do list but not made time for. Next the cards took us again through lovely country side. We had packed a picnic lunch so stopped in a pretty park. The next card said Head Home so we did. We laughed and giggled and enjoyed ourselves so much and can hardly wait for our next adventure. Highly recommend to everyone.
