I was disappointed (sorry) I bought for my 9 year old twins and to be honest I thought they we were getting excited travelling and exploring. But there is no way they are going to stop and have coffee😩there were about 3 ideas in each pack that was fun.
Did I buy the wrong pack! And paid that price😩 then they came on special
So won’t be telling my friend to buy
Hopefully you get better ideas for children to get excited about

Hi Jennifer,

We're really gutted they haven't lived up to your expectations and hopefully I can help make sure you get the right games for your twins....

I don't' think you have bought the right pack and you are welcome to exchange it for some more suitable games (I'd recommend the Customise your own Gift Box with the Family Explorer option) or if Getting Lost is just not for you then you can return the whole pack for a refund.

There are two packs common to both packs which I think would be perfect for that age group....

Road Trip Edition - perfect for 9 year olds and the game I'd recommed for tweens with directions like head in the direction of a dandelion seed and stop for icecream after the next bug hits your window.

Adventurers Edition - our classic driving game with just directions and no activities. It's our original game and still my children's favourite with directions like follow a blue car and head in the direction the wind is blowing.

I'd really recommend getting out there and trying them as they are so much fun in the car with kids - especially that age group!

The other two that you currently have in that pack - the Girls Road Trip - is an 18+ game so not appropriate, and the Camper Edition - only good if you have a Camper or Caravan. In the Family Explorers option these would be swapped out for the At Home Edition (designed for ages 3-12 with fun, low cost activities at home) and the Campground Edition (same age group but designed for use when staying at a campground).

In regards to the price - our gift boxes are excluded from all store sales so are not, and will not be discounted.

Good to do but needs some fine tuning.

Great idea but I had to manipulate the cards for it to work for us. I faced a bit of anxiety from the players about ‘getting lost’, they needed goals and conclusions to each card. We set a maximum time limit of 5 minutes for each directional card (I.e. head south) . I selected and combined cards from the 5 packs that I have and inserted activity cards in every second or 3rd place. It gave the game more structure and the players more control, instead of just driving they had to count roads and stop at parks etc. My players enjoyed having no final destination (until the head home card came out) but they needed the activity cards, where each card had a goal or end to it, car rally style.
If I play again, I may add a scavenger hunt list to the cards game.
I found the photography cards were the most fun and most interactive for a large group and especially loved the card, spell your name in pictures….
P.s. I loved the little suitcase to keep the cards together and neat. Nice extra.

Thanks so much for the feedback. It definitely takes some getting used to having no structure!
